Jordan Collard will take a second stab at the GT4 crown in the 2020 Intelligent Money British GT Championship with HHC Motorsport. The McLaren Driver Development Programme graduate sticks with the popular 570s GT4 but has switched teams to class rivals HHC. He will be joined by Patrik Matthiesen who raced with Optimum Motorsport in GT4 last year but had planned a GT4 European Championship campaign with HHC for 2020.
Collard finished 4th in the GT4 Overall and Silver Cup Championships last year, alongside Lewis Proctor who was recently confirmed in Optimum’s second GT3 entry. His father, touring car ace Rob Collard, will also be racing in the British GT Championship this year at the wheel of a Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini in the GT3 class. Matthiesen claimed sixth place in GT4 with an Aston Martin and Graham Johnston as his team mate.
The pair join Gus Bowers and Chris Wesemael who confirmed for HHC Motorsport at Media Day in March.
HHC have all the ingredients for success – Collard.

“It has been a long wait for the start of my racing season and I have altered my plans a little, but I cannot wait to be back on the grid of the British GT Championship,” Matthiesen added. “The category is always really competitive and I am sure that we will be at the front of GT4 as the McLaren has proved itself to be a great GT4 machine. Working with Jordan will be a boost as well as he knows the car really well from last season so I am sure that we will be fighting for wins. It is also great to be back with HHC who I raced for in 2018 so I am sure that together we will have a successful season.”
With rivals Tolman Motorsport in doubt for 2019 and new drivers in the team car, HHC Motorsport and the pairing of Collard and Matthiesen are now one of the favourites for the 2020 Intelligent Money British GT4 championship.
